We are so ready to get back to the mountains. The weather at home is brutally hot, humid and without rain. We learned from our week in Vail (was it really just a week ago?) that we love cool, dry mornings and evenings and reasonable temperatures during the day 70-85. Park City will be a bit warmer than Vail and afternoon thunderstorms are likely some days but it's almost perfect in the summer time.
The area is likely to be filled with athletic girls since the Teen Soft Ball Tournament is this week. Duh...we experienced this several years ago and decided we wouldn't compete with the girls again. But....I forgot to check the tournament schedule. Lots of families and family style restaurants will be crowded. Since our boys have a bit more gourmet tastes and since we know the area well, we'll be just fine.
My plan is NOT to try to write a daily blog but rather to summarize our activities when I have a chance, so readers best bet is to register as 'followers' so that you will be notified when there is a new message and not have to check back until you are notified.
We leave on Sunday morning....a few last minue items to pack and we'll be ready!
